STAR Program

Using Funds

The Support Training And Resources (STAR) Program provides chapters with an annual subsidy of $3,000 to offset the costs of certain chapter expenses. The subsidy can be used for the following chapter support:

  1. Chapter administrative services expenses
  2. Chapter marketing expenses (tradeshow expenses, brochures, ads, promotional materials, etc.)
  3. Chapter educational program expenses – i.e., education day or special educational event longer than a regular chapter meeting (instructor, facility, workbooks, etc.)
  4. CFMA Speaker Program and CFMA Education Programs
  5. CFMA will continue to provide strategic planning expenses (facilitator, facility, food, and beverage, etc.) to chapters free of charge.

The Details

All expenses reimbursed under the 2023-24 STAR Program must be incurred during the current fiscal year (04/01/23-03/31/2024).

A completed 2023 Chapter Affiliation Agreement and 2022-23 Chapter Benchmarking Data are required before the chapter can receive reimbursement.
