Do you have a great tip or “hack” that has made your job easier? If so, share it with your peers! CFMA is looking for submissions to build a robust library of short videos (2-5 minutes) on its YouTube channel to serve as a resource for construction financial professionals within the categories of:

Video Criteria

Please note that video submissions should be informative and geared toward helping construction financial professionals. Videos that promote a product or service, or that are perceived as a sales pitch, will not be accepted. Check out some examples here

  • Video length should be 2-5 minutes
  • Content should provide tips, how-tos, and/or insights
  • Video should be taken horizontally
  • Ensure clear audio without background noise (including cell phone, email, and other notifications)
  • Ensure proper lighting
  • Ensure proper camera angle; the camera as should be right at your hairline and pointed down at your eyes to ensure the most flattering angle
  • Submit video in its final state; as CFMA will not be editing the video
  • CFMA will add in an intro slide with “Hey CFMA” logo, speaker’s name and credentials, title, and company
  • Ensure the video follows this format:
    • Begin with “Hey CFMA, ”
    • Answer the question(s)
    • Wrap it up with a call to action
    • If self-producing, please share your file in an MP4 format
