Timothy R. Velner
Timothy R. Velner is an in-house construction attorney in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For over twenty-five years he has managed transactions, litigation, and disputes. In the late 1990s, he took a brief hiatus to study religion and spirituality at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. He and his wife have spent the last four years managing the complex mental health maze after one of their children became ill. He has written about this experience and the awakenings it sparked in his book Waking Up Work: Using Mindfulness to Uncover the Unknowns and Do the Right Thing.
