Steve Handly

As VP of the Construction & Real Estate division, Steve Handly is responsible for leading sales, application consultants and IT professionals in delivering ERP software, services and support to companies in the Construction and Real Estate industries.  He oversees more than 60 employees who implement Sage 100 Contractor, Sage 300 CRE, Sage Estimating and Sage Intacct. Steve and his team serve as trusted technology advisors and deliver high-level, consultative services that address business process improvement, industry best practices and innovative technology solutions.  He’s also responsible for managing and maintaining vendor relationships, employee on-boarding and training, and practice sales and service growth. Prior to joining Aktion, Steve ran his own consulting firm, owned a construction company, and held management/technology positions for several large, enterprise firms. Steve joined Aktion Associates in 2003 when he merged his consulting business with Aktion. Steve started his career in auditing computerized systems for two Fortune 500 companies. He performed information system reviews on internal controls, security, data integrity and disaster planning and progressed to hold several management positions. Active in civic and professional organizations, Steve is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association and Association of General Contractors.
