Jerry Whitaker

Jerry Whitaker is Senior Agency Partner/Acrisure Shareholder. He is a frequent speaker and thought leader on Risk Management, including featured presentations at BELFOR Franchise Group, Home Builders Association of Michigan, Construction Financial Management Association, and various insurance associations. He also has extensive political experience, and frequently works with State and National legislators on insurance-related legislation. Jerry graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, IL, and maintains a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. He was the recipient of the Big I of Michigan "Capitol Agent of the Year" for 2022, Professional Insurance Agents of Michigan "Agent of the Year" for 2019. He was also the "Associate Member of the Year" for the Home Builders Association of Western Michigan in 2018, and the American Diabetes Association "Father of the Year" in 2012. Jerry currently serves on the board of the Big I of Michigan, board of the Builders Exchange of Kalamazoo, board of directors of the CFMA Southwest Michigan Chapter,executive board member of Park Village Pines Senior Care Center, and Vice Chair of the Builders of Michigan Health Benefit Trust. He is also a Wall Street Journal Opinion Leader, and Atheneum Global Advisor.
