Dan Pope

Dan is Senior Vice President of Underwriting at Old Republic Surety (www.orsurety.com), a part of Old Republic Insurance Group, in Brookfield, WI. Dan has 30 years of surety underwriting experience in various management, training, and surety claims handling roles and has worked with a broad spectrum of contractors, from emerging contractors new to public works to a portfolio of national and international contractors. His focus has been on contractor ownership transitions and large project risk management. In his current role, Dan leads the underwriting group to manage the risk appetite in a competitive construction and surety market. Dan earned a JD from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.
