Charles Yorio

Charles Yorio is Principal and Risk Control Consultant at EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants in Pittsburgh, PA. Chuck is responsible for developing and assisting in the execution of risk management initiatives focusing on risk reduction and assisting clients in developing/maintaining a zero-injury culture. He has over 30 years’ experience in providing risk control consultation as part of a robust risk management system.

Chuck has extensive experience working across diverse industries, including manufacturing, construction, and transportation. He develops customized consulting services to help make his clients profitable, improve their risk profile, and reduce risk. He uses a collaborative, team approach and works with his clients to most effectively understand and meet their needs.

He has earned several designations including a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP), and an Associate Risk Management (ARM). Chuck has presented at regional and national conferences, and was appointed to the OSHA Crane and Derrick Advisory Committee (C-DAC), responsible for writing the regulation.
