Brett Rutter is Partner in the National Office of Moss Adams, LLP. He has practiced public accounting since 1996, providing assurance and consulting services to both public and privately held clients primarily in the construction, real estate, manufacturing, distribution, and professional services industries. His areas of technical focus include business combinations, intangible assets and goodwill, variable interest entities, lease accounting, revenue recognition applicable to the construction industry, and private company accounting alternatives.
Bret is the current Chair of CFMA’s Emerging Issues Committee and is also a contributing reviewer to the AICPA’s Audit and Accounting Guide: Construction Contractors.
