Jamie Smith is a Partner in the Jacksonville Forvis Mazars office with more than 25 years of experience. He focuses on tax consulting and compliance work for midsize to large private equity portfolio companies primarily operating in the construction, real estate, manufacturing, distribution, and service-based industries. Smith has significant experience in partnership and corporate taxation, multistate tax filings, mergers and acquisitions, and transaction-related reorganizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Construction Financial Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. He has held numerous industry and community advisory roles, including with the University of Noth Florida Accounting & Finance Department, the Northeast Florida Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Associations, and the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida.
