Dave Pesce, CCIFP, took some time out of his busy schedule as Head of Surety at Munich Re Specialty Insurance in Butler, New Jersey to answer ten of our questions for CCIFP Month. 

Q: What time did you wake up this morning?

A: I woke up this morning at 7:00 a.m.

Q: What’s your guilty pleasure?

A: My guilty pleasure is candy, especially chewy candy like Mike and Ikes or Skittles.

Q: Do you have children?

A: I have one daughter and one granddaughter. 

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: My favorite movie is “The Godfather.” 

Q: What’s your favorite holiday to celebrate?

A: My favorite holiday to celebrate is Halloween.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: My favorite part of my job is all of the people I get to meet and spend time getting to know.

Q: What energizes you at work?

A: Seeing the final product of a long and difficult project come to fruition energizes me at work.

Q: What do you do to unwind from work?

A: I unwind from work with exercise or golf.

Q: Describe yourself in three words.

A: In three words, I would describe myself as someone who “can't sit still.”

Q: What was your first job?

A: My first job was baling and stacking hay at a horse farm.
