I’ll let you in on a secret: Unlike parents who love all their children equally, CPAs have some clients that are their favorites, along with others that cause them to rethink their career choice. 

From serving construction clients as a CPA to becoming a client myself, I have ample experience with both sides of the CPA/client relationship. The best CPA/client relationships involve clients that are well-prepared and supply timely, consistent, and reliable information to their CPA that, in return, provides thoughtful, proactive planning and execution.
