Before that Corbin was General Counsel of Boyer, Inc., a civil, electrical, marine, and mechanical construction firm in Houston – and an attorney practicing constitutional and maritime law at the Houston law firm of Fitzhugh & Elliott. Corbin also served three terms in the Texas House of Representatives, representing northwest Harris County.

Corbin currently serves on the boards of the Texas Civil Justice League, Texas Business Roundtable, Texas Comptroller’s Business Advisory Group, and the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization.
