1:15 pm - Meet at Sanford Virtual Care Center: 3001 W. Opportunity Drive, Sioux Falls, SD 57107. This is directly East of Fleet Farm off Westport Ave. Lot parking is available on site.

2:45 pm – Depart Sanford Virtual Care Center; drive to The Steel District.

3:00 pm - Arrive at The Steel District: 120 E. 4^th Pl, Sioux Falls, SD 57104. Park in the Steel District Ramp. Meet in the Skywalk by Brioux Falls.

4:30 pm - Walk to Papa Woody’s for drinks/appetizers and networking: 775 N. Phillips Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104

The Steel District would also like a Waiver (HERE) filled out by anyone going on the tour. We ask that you complete and bring it to the tour. Please also remember the below requirements for tours:

Sanford Virtual Care Center Info

The 60,000 SF Sanford Virtual Care Center will feature dedicated clinician workspaces equipped with telemedicine technology to offer a variety of service lines, including on-demand urgent care, behavioral healthcare and primary care. The building will also house innovation, education and research initiatives to advance digital health care and workforce solutions for the future.

Steel District Info

The new Steel District complex is a 5-acre parcel that sits atop of the falls along the Big Sioux River. The Steel District is a riverfront destination designed for Sioux Falls residents and guests with office, retail, entertainment, and hospitality catered for their adventurous lifestyles.

• The Canopy by Hilton is a 197,000 SF 7-story structure. There will be 216 guestrooms total including 6 suites. There will be a large convention center with seating for up to 500 people along with multiple smaller meeting & breakout spaces. The hotel will also be home to a small boutique coffee shop and fine Italian restaurant.
• The Steel District Lofts is a 212,000 SF 6-story mixed-use building wrapped around The Parking Garage. The building will contain 155 apartments, 20 luxury condos and 35,000 SF of first floor commercial retail space.
• Jacobson Plaza at Falls Park is adjacent to the Steel District development and will provide a variety of amenities, including a 14,000 SF refrigerated ice skating ribbon, a mechanical building, a warming house with a café, an all-inclusive playground (largest playground in Sioux Falls), an open-air shelter, Pawsible Dog Park, T. Denny Sanford Splash Pad, and improved trail connections to downtown destinations and the greater recreation trail network.
• The River Greenway Phase III will provide two acres of pedestrian access and recreation opportunities along the west side of the Big Sioux River along the upper reach of the Falls. The new improvements will provide a direct connection to the Steel District development, tie into existing Falls Park pedestrian circulation routes, and lead into the Jacobson Plaza improvements. The Lloyd Landing improvements include a riverwalk path, 30′ x 80′ lighted shelter, dog relief station, flexible field turf area, iconic selfie station, landscaping, and access to the Big Sioux River. The historic low-head dam will also be replaced as part of the project and will maintain the water level of the river through downtown.
