Construction financial management professionals need to grow into indispensable leaders or members of a strategic planning leadership group. Among the skills they need is the ability to help their leadership team take on a more strategic mentality with their construction company. After all one of the goals of effective strategic planning is not just a written strategic plan, but greater thought leadership and strategic thinking abilities of the leadership team. This entails more than a vague and meaningless discussion about mission and vision. Participants will be given two different and fantastic methods for helping the CFM‘s management team assume a more strategic mentality. These exercises can be used by the participants later in their own companies to drive a highly effective conversation about strategic mentality. This presentation is informative, fun, and unique because it is delivered by our nation’s most accomplished construction industry strategic planning consultant.
Three learning objectives:
1. Learn the psychographic profile of your construction company leadership culture.
2. Learn how to facilitate with independence a leadership team’s high gain conversation on strategic mentality.
3. Take a complex subject like strategic mentality, and make it simple and easy to understand.
