Ian Campbell - Ian has 20 years of broker experience, with the last 10 years exclusively focusing on Surety. He manages Surety programs of all size GC's, Subs, and Material Suppliers in the Pacific Northwest.   

A Past President of the Surety Association of Oregon (SAO) and a current member of the National Association of Surety Brokers (NASBP) 5-15 Leadership Committee. 

Gary Christensen - Gary Christensen is a partner of Miller Nash LLP in Portland and has practiced construction law since he joined the firm in 1988. Over the years, he has represented, owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, and others in the industry, and has previously worked on legislation to improve construction law in Oregon. He was the chair of the construction team at Miller Nash for many years and served as president of the Construction Law Section of the Oregon State Bar.

Jeremy Vermilyea - Since 1997, Jeremy Vermilyea has been advising construction firms and other businesses as well as litigating their disputes. He has written or helped to write or re-write numerous Oregon construction statutes, including contractor licensing, lien and bond laws, and the 2012 re-write of Oregon’s laws regarding the use of CM/GC project delivery. Most recently he has been part of a group that drafted legislation to bring Oregon’s retainage laws into alignment with Washington, and provide contractors and subcontractors with new mechanisms to ensure full and timely payment for their work.

In addition to his business and litigation experience, Jeremy is an experienced and in-demand mediator and arbitrator of complex commercial, business and construction disputes. He serves on the commercial and construction panels of the American Arbitration Association and arbitrates securities disputes via the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitration panel. He serves on the Oregon State Bar’s ADR Section Executive Committee and is the co-author, with Gary Christensen, of “ADR in Construction Disputes”, a chapter in the OSB’s ADR in Oregon Deskbook, 2019 ed.

Jeremy has been rated by Super Lawyers® in 2011, 2018-2022 and in Best Lawyers in America® every year since 2013 in surveys by his peers. Vermilyea Law has been named a Tier One law firm in construction law since 2020 by Best Lawyers®. Jeremy was raised in Alaska and lived there until relocating to the Pacific Northwest in 2000.

He received his Bachelor's degree in 1992 from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and his J.D., cum laude, in 1996 from Vermont Law School.
