Hosted by San Antonio, TX
About this Event
A round table discussion that will dive into all aspects of the relationship between General Contractors and Subcontractors. We will discuss the highs and lows – what has gone wrong on jobs in the past and what has gone exceptionally well; and how we can work to ensure we repeat our successes. An open discussion about the prequalification process, payment terms, and risk management.
Three Learning Objectives:
1. The importance of written agreements, clear communication, mutual respect, and understanding each party’s roles and responsibilities
2. The financial risks that subcontractors assume and issues concerning cash flow, financing costs, and potential project delays.
3. The requirements behind pre-qualifications – reviewing financial stability, past performance, and credentials – what should you look for and what may not be as important?
