Large-Firm Roundtable

Over 200 attendees at CFMA’s 2022 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Atlanta attended the Large-Firm CFO Roundtable ($100M+). The topics discussed included employee engagement and remote work, presented by Jason Keen of Mills & Nebraska. His presentation was followed by Rob Lawyer from Thieneman Construction and Laurie Taylor from DPR Construction, who discussed the early warning signs of an underperforming job. This was followed Nate Budde from Levelset, who discussed best practices for lien laws in states where there are no lien laws. Following this presentation, John Eardley from Crowe discussed the various topics discussed in the CFMA State Tax Law Guides, which is particularly relevant for the large companies that attended the Large-Firm Roundtable.

At the end of the session, there was an open forum where attendees at each table could discuss topics of interest to that group. Some of the topics included:

  • Hardening insurance costs
  • Rising material costs and escalation
  • Supply chain disruptions

A special thanks to the facilitators who helped develop the agenda for this meeting and served as facilitators during the roundtable discussions.
