Princeton, NJ — The Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) opens registration for the 38th Annual Conference & Exhibition, in Washington, D.C. at Wardman Park. This year’s theme is, “Foresight is 2020: Leading with Clarity.” CFMA’s 2020-21 Chairman Kevin Booth said, “2020 has long been associated with vision so we couldn’t pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity to use 2020 in this year’s theme. As leaders in the construction industry, it is easy to forget the importance of both having a strong support system and making time for yourself. Doing these seemingly simple things allows you to lead with clarity, evolve, and manage expectations – ultimately, they help you become a stronger leader. This conference is a reminder that clarity doesn’t happen by chance – you must be proactive, invest in yourself, and never stop learning.”
The Annual Conference & Exhibition is attended by more than 1,600 construction financial management professionals and is composed of six tracks, 45 breakout sessions, and more than 70 exhibitors. This year’s event will feature four general sessions with a variety of topics, attendees will walk away with a new perspective and ways of approaching work after hearing from Sebastian Terry, “100 Things: What’s On Your List;” Erik Qualman, “Focus: How to Focus In an Unfocused World;” and Neil Pasricha, “Be Happy First: Resilience & Breakthrough Performance in Times of Change.” And as always fan favorite and CFMA’s Economist Anirban Basu will close the conference with an economic update.
Attendees can save $250 on a full conference registration by taking advantage of the Super Saver Rate being offered until February 27. For more information on the Annual Conference & Exhibition and to register, visit conference.cfma.org.
