Join us for our July luncheon, featuring guest speaker Ray Renneker. Ray will be discussing the financial implications of OSHA Compliance, cost-benefit analysis of safety programs, and strategic integrations of safety into financial planning.
- Participants will understand the financial impact of OSHA compliance and non-compliance, including potential fines, legal costs, increased insurance premiums, and the long-term financial benefits of investing in a safe work environment. They will learn how to balance safety investments with overall financial strategy to enhance profitability and risk management.
- Participants will be able to conduct a cost-benefit analysis of various safety programs and initiatives. They will learn to evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of safety measures, considering factors such as reduced worker compensation claims, lower turnover rates, improved productivity, and enhanced company reputation.
- Construction Industry owners and CFOs will learn how to strategically integrate safety considerations into the company's financial planning and budgeting processes. This includes setting aside funds for regular safety training, equipment maintenance, and upgrades, as well as understanding the role of safety in securing financing and investment opportunities. They will also explore ways to communicate the value of safety investments to stakeholders and board members effectively.

Ray Renneker, at the request of National Compliance Systems, LLC, is proud to address the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). Ray is an accomplished safety risk engineer with over 40 years of hands-on experience in the construction and safety industry. He currently works for Zurich Risk Engineering's Construction division in the West region and is based in the Southern California area. His primary responsibilities include supporting customers through hazard assessments, strategic safety management consulting, and program development. He is also a subject matter expert on all phases of construction and fire loss control strategies designed to drive down the total cost of risk. He serves as a technical resource and support resource to our customers. Ray has served the local, region in many ways including firefighting, general contracting, and as a certified instructor with all previously mentioned; he accomplished union carpenter, state-certified GC, OSHA 500/501/510, CHST, EM385-1, and Fire Captain Prevention Officer. In the last 40 years, Ray has had many certifications and awards that have been earned through the construction and OSHA programs.
