Michael Gregory
Deputy Chief Economist and Head of U.S. Economics for BMO Capital Markets

Michael is part of the team responsible for forecasting and analyzing the North American economy and financial markets. He has spent his career working in either economics or financial markets research for firms on both sides of the U.S.-Canada border. Prior to his current role, Michael headed up the Financial Services Analysis team at Bank of Montreal, focusing on regulatory and industry restructuring issues, before shifting to BMO Capital Markets Economics in 2004. He moved to Chicago in 2013, providing research support for the U.S. and Canadian fixed income business, before returning to Toronto in 2016. Michael is a graduate of Concordia University in Montreal and Western University in London, Ontario. He did doctoral studies at Fordham University in New York City, and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

 

Kyle Erickson
Director & Sr. Vice President, Engineering & Construction

Kyle currently serves as the Engineering & Construction Director/SVP for the Southeast US region of BMO Harris Bank.  He is responsible for managing current and prospective client relationships of the bank and helping them grow their businesses by providing a strong financial partner and advocate within the industry.  Drawing on an extensive referral network and global thought leadership across BMO, Kyle helps meet the diverse needs of our clients,  by providing a range of strategic advisory, corporate lending, capital markets financing, treasury management, M&A and derivative solutions.

Prior to joining BMO Harris Bank, he has spent nearly three decades in the commercial banking industry including roles in credit, treasury/cash management services, relationship management and leadership.  Most recently, he joins BMO after eleven years of leadership and business development roles in the Southeast for one of the country’s largest banks. 

Kyle is a native of Michigan and started his banking career with Old Kent-Fifth Third Bank after receiving his BAs in Finance and English from Hillsdale College.  He lives in Lake Mary, Florida with his wife and daughter and is involved in several local civic and charitable organizations.
