Frank Cox, Vision Technology Group

After graduating from Turner Ashby High School, Frank joined the United States Marine Corps.  His training in the Marine Corps was in field communication, and because of that training, became interested in computers and telephone systems. While stationed at Camp Pendleton, Frank met his wife Cherith and they have been married for 26 years.  They have two daughters - Elyse is the older daughter and she is married, and Sarah, their younger daughter is a junior in high school. 

As the owner of VTG, Frank has a passion for IT with a major focus on security for home and business.  His personal life, Frank notes his heart is in the mission field, stating “If they were not full time IT, they would be in the mountains of Africa”.

Brantley Somma, an alumni of James Madison University in Finance; has been in the insurance industry for the past 6+ years with a focus on Risk Management and Commercial Insurance Consulting.  Prior to going to work with McGriff Insurance, he owned his own Insurance Agency with the intention of eliminating risk and providing guidance for financial wellbeing.   Brant currently has a designation of CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist) and will finish his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation later this year.  He is currently a member of the American Sub-contractors Association, Associated General Contractors of America, Mill Creek-Cross Keys Ruritans, Virginia Automotive Dealer Association, National Automotive Dealer Association; And he is a board member of the Blue Ridge Construction Financial Management Association and Brain Injury Connections of the Shenandoah Valley.  For McGriff Insurance, Brant’s specialty lies within these three major industries: Construction, Automotive and Accounting/Tech Firms.

Brant has been married to his lovely wife, Angela, for 16 years.  Together they have two beautiful daughters, Tessa and Lyla, and are soaking up every life moment with them.  When not working, Brant and Angela love to golf, watch their girls during dance, gymnastics, piano lessons and yes…even golf lessons!
