David Liss is the Executive Director of Technology and Strategic Planning for the Nixa School District. He has 31 years' experience in the technology field with 16 years at Nixa Schools, 11 years coordinating the technical support efforts for Missouri State University and 4 years for Drury University. David also holds CoSN's national certification, Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) as well as serves on its state board - Missouri Education Technology Leaders (METL). In the community, David serves on the executive board for the Nixa Chamber of Commerce and is the past president of the Christian County Optimist Club. Additionally, he is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he began his computer career, and a bit of trivia, he authored the 1992 best seller (not really), “Digesting Computers, One Byte at a Time!
